Happy Labor Day.....

 Hello and Good Afternoon....I hope you've all enjoyed Labor Day in your favorite way!!  I woke this morning to my youngest son calling and inviting me to come over and hang with them til my grandson was ready for a nap....you bettcha I was up and at'em to get over there....That is one sweet little boy this Nana's heart melts for!! We had fun....put some puzzles together and just horsed around!!!

Now I'm home...enjoying my day in my favorite room in the house....my Craft Room......It's my special place!!  Been working on a few more cards and had fun with them....Still Christmas Themed.....wanna see???

This first set I had the most fun with....it's definitely a mixed media piece and I just loved getting my fingers inky again.....used texture paste, dies, stamps, embossing powders, distress oxide inks, copics, scrapbook paper....all sorts of yumminess!!!  I love how these turned out...super cute!!!!

They will be going into My Etsy Store as soon as I can get them packaged up....

The next 2 cards here I used Echo Park Here Comes Santa Claus 6x6 paper pack, dies and inks to create this...SUPER fun....rather busy looking but still cute!!!

I also used the same scrapbook pad for the below two cards....and of course dies and inks...I created the poinsetta and had so much fun!!!  Makes me smile to look at them!!!!!

So that catches me up on the cards I've been creating and looking forward to creating more!!!

I do have a question for you....if you've made it this far....I am giving serious consideration to starting my videos again...if I were to do this....anyone have any suggestions on what you might like to see??  If you have a comment...please share it with me....because I truly want to know!!

Let Fall come IN!!

 Good Morning....well..Afternoon actually and Happy Fall!!!  It's hard to believe we are in September already!! My how this year has flown by!!!  It's been a challenge of a year but I believe my sweetie is getting me in gear from heaven for me to let my mojo get to work!!!!  

I've enjoyed some wonderful productive time in my ARTHaven creating again...some utilitarian items and also more creative items!!! Thought I would share them with you here.....

The first thing I created was due to a need.....I have the complete set of Copics as well as other markers and would like to have them all in a neat holder....without spending a fortune....I'm  blessed to have a Glowforge which is a laser cutter so I can cut wood with ease!! So I designed the below....it holds 352 markers.....and I do have it listed in My ETSY store if anyone is interested...both in the SVG digital download and also in the actual holder itself...

The second item I had a want for was stamp pad storage.....so I figured I designed my marker holder and it turned out amazing.....then I would create a stamp pad storage holder...I also have listed the on My ETSY store as well......

Then I decided to have some fun making Christmas cards....Can't believe it will be here before we know it....if you're in a funk on your mojo...then turn on some youtube videos and watch away...it will help to bring it back for certain!!!

Anywho.....I had FUN creating this...using all kinds of goodness in it's making, oxide inks, dies, markers, paper, glossy accents...OMG it was FUN!!! Thought I would share it with you here!!!

Didn't they turn out great!! I decided to do a set of 4 of these to get the most out of the paper as I could....LOTS of fun!! These will eventually be going into My ETSY Store after I create a few more designs.....

The End of Summer

 Hello Hello Everyone!!! I hope you are doing wonderful and have enjoyed your summer!! Gosh can you believe how fast it has went by?  Unbelievable...but I must admit I am so looking forward to Fall...just love to enjoy the cool brisk air!

I am doing my best to jump in with both feet...I'm so tired of saying I'm back and then going MIA again....this has been a tough year....and I am determined to enjoy happy again to make my soulmate smile at me in heaven.....Hardest journey anyone could endure!!  But I know I WILL see him again!!

I am beginning to put my focus back into creating for me and to perhaps sell some.....and I just remind myself every morning I wake up to make the MOST of each day and don't waste it.....Thought I would share with you a couple of things I created that I'm quite proud of!

Aren't each of those cool!!!  I actually even got them listed into My Store which is a big accomplishment!!

It feels GREAT to want to be creative and I'm grabbing it with both hands and running with it!!!

Hello Hello...

 Hello Everyone....It's been a while since I've posted...I've had some life changes over the last 6 months....and I'm trying to get myself back to creating again....mostly for the passion of it...perhaps to make a few dollars...and majorly to fill my time since I've had such a HUGE piece of my life change.

On January 12th, 2022 I lost the love of my life, my soulmate!!  He went onto heaven before me and I miss him so much each and every day!!  But our love was so strong and I'm surrounded by my amazing children and my best friend that I'm finding my path forward!!!  

So I've decided, through alot of amazing support of my BFF, Rita Loyd and my children to put my focus on my passion to create and enjoy!! So here we go!!!!

I thought I would share with you a card I made recently for my oldest granddaughter, Briana Duncan...she graduated from college this past week.....Our family is so very proud of her and wish her all the blessings the Lord has in store for her.....

Here's the adorable card I created for her...

Isn't it cute!! I colored the body parts with my copic markers as well as the hair and the flowers on the label.  I also stamped again the image on scrapbook paper and cut out...then also stamped the boots portion on faux leather and cut the boots out!!  

I used dies to cut the top layer paper and the label .....I had alot of fun creating this and plan to make more....cardmaking has always been my passion to create and I want to get back more into that!!

Wahoooo It’s FRIDAY!!

HELLO HELLO everyone….I hope you’ve all enjoyed a wonderful week and are looking forward to your weekend like I am!! I’m ready to spend the weekend once again in my ARTHaven!!

So through last weekend and this week I have created a couple of REALLY fun files and created pieces to list in my ETSY store as well!! Thought I would show them to you here….

This first one is a Watering Can Welcome Sign….It turned out just as I had envisioned and I’m quite happy with the results…I’ve created 4 different flower designs that can be Engraved/Cut to then color to adhere to the Watering Can…adding the phrase I’ve created…some twine and it’s such a cute Welcome Sign…

So….Don’t you also think they turned out adorable!? I do have these listed in My ETSY Store….

Now…the next piece I’ve created…I will tell you now…is my FAVORITE….this turned out even better than I imagined…….the first set of pics I’m sharing is what the file I’ve designed looks like cut ……then I’ll show you pics of the end results which I’m BEYOND thrilled with!! And as the other….I am offering the Laser Cut file on My ETSY Store as well as a finished piece !!

I am truly in love with this project and quite proud of it…if I must say so myself!!!

It’s Almost Wednesday..

Hey Hey Everyone!! Hope this post finds you all doing wonderful!! I must say I am doing wonderful and have enjoyed alot of time in my ARTHaven as of late and have been just creating away!!!

Created a few items for swaps I’ve been involved with and a few items for My ETSY Store….I’ll start sharing the pieces I created for swaps…..had lots of fun with these….used my Glowforge for the most part….each time I use it I fall in love with it more and more!!

This first piece is for a Window Card swap…..I had ALOT of fun with this…..

Then….my next project was to be a Mini Album……this was made for my best friend and I really wanted to make it special for her…..as she misses her mama so much and speaks about her often….so I made it with that in mind…..

She was so touched by the piece when she received it…

Then….I received an order for a set of Baby Milestone Markers….as a coworker is expecting and there little fella is due to arrive next month……So I worked up these…and Shelby was thrilled with them.

These are awesome to have and can be passed down or gifted for a friend or family member….so I also decided to offer these on My ETSY Store….

Let’s see…..And I created one last project….this was for my grandchildren’s teachers….and one for one of my daughter-in-loves who is a Pre-School teacher……these are really amazing and they were a HUGE hit!!
